"Alchemist's Stone" Chocolate Melanger Spare Parts

Every so often something wears out, breaks or you just want a back up. Following are the basic parts you may need for your Melanger (Spectra 10 only). If you have a Phillips screw driver and a small crescent wrench you can disassemble and repair virtually any part in the Melanger. The case shell is held together by 9 screws on the underside of the Melanger. Turn the unit over, remove the screws. Carefully turn it back over, and the top shell should come right off. After than just remove the piece that has to be repaired, replace it, and re-assemble it. Not rocket science and very little you can actually hurt. If in doubt, write us and we can walk you through it.

All of the items are drop shipped from the distributor in the USA.

Smaller items are generally shipped USPS (belts, caps, etc), larger items (motors, cases) by FedEx.

Every so often a part will run out and we will not be told. In that case, we will let you know and work with to get you further to get the part you need.

We have added a custom machined aluminum center hub and top nut to the spare parts available. In this one case, these will ship directly from Chocolate Alchemy. Yes, they are a bit expensive, but they also will not wear out or break and will allow you to experiment with heating your chocolate (noting you may still have epoxy degradation with the bowl). Right now we are only offering them as a set. If you want one or the other, ask, and we will see what we can do.

Also, please note, the center block and cap only come as is – i.e. no shafts, scraper, rollers or spring. Those you need to supply from your existing assembly. You will also notice a nut in the picture. This does come with the center hub and is what keeps the assembly in place. In the plastic part, there is a square shaft. Here, it is round (a square bore would have doubled the cost) but uses a nut as a set screw to keep the center in place. Tighten it just enough to hold it in place, but NOT tight against the shaft or the spring will not be able to push the rollers down to refine your chocolate.
